GOT JOY? - "What in the World is God Up To?"

"What in the World is God Up To?" is the first part of an 8 part series entitled, "GOT JOY?". Each of us struggle from time to time with living a joyless life. We allow people and things to move in and destroy the joy that God has for each of us. "GOT JOY?" addresses the many areas of our lives that try to rob us from our joy and gives us tool and examples of how to life joyful lives.

It is my prayer that God ministers to your heart through this message.

PS - This message was taped at the Weiser Church of the Nazarene in Weiser, ID. Although the video quality is poor and I forgot my glasses and could barely see my notes (and the Word), it was a blessing to minister to the people of Weiser.

THE ONE EFFECT

The One Effect is a ministry to encourage spiritual growth in the lives of believers, as well as hope in those who need Christ in their lives. The One Effect understands that the only One who can help free us is Jesus Christ and only Jesus Christ. Jesus in the ONLY ONE, the ONLY TRUTH, the ONLY WAY and the ONLY LIFE that can truly free us from the bondage of sin and struggle. It is not that our lives will l problem free. However, our lives will be better, with a greater hope and an awesome future knowing that Jesus Christ will walk with us, giving us hope and encourage us. John 14:3-4, 6 says, "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going."... Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." The One Effect Ministry understands that there is definitely a God-shaped hole in each of our hearts. We try and put other things (i.e. drugs, sex, money, etc) in that hole in hopes that it will fill it up. In reality, it never fits. Only God can fill our God-shaped hole. The invitation is yours. The One Effect encourages you to find a church family, to which you can belong. We encourage you to find a good Bible teaching fellowship that does not water down the Gospel, to which you can grow in Christ. The Gospel is a confronting, and sometimes an offending Gospel, to which we are able to see the sins in our lives and fall in love with a Savior who will set us free.
